Advent Communications has won a significant order to supply four 1.8-meter
Newswift antennas to Europe’s largest operator of satellite newsgathering
trucks, SISLink. Two of the NewSwifts will
be integrated on to one of SISlinks new
highly specified high-definition (HD)
vehicles, which will then be leased to a
leading national broadcaster for coverage of high-profile sporting events.
The additional NewSwifts will each be
installed onto two HD vehicles designed
and built by SISLink predominantly for
major sports and broadcasting events.
SISLink is buying Advent’s largest
Newswift, the 1.8-meter antenna for
Ku-band, which will be supplied with
Advent’s GPS based auto satellite
acquisition package.
